The Lift is the classic Chuck Taylor All Star on a raised platform: the familiar canvas upper, All Star tongue label and license plate, set on a higher sole that Converse says uses EVA foam for a lighter feel and cushioning. In White / Black / White, Converse Canada lists the low-top (560251C) at CA$85 and the high-top (560846C) at CA$90. Amazon.ca also listed the white low-top at CA$84.99 for the size shown by default; Amazon prices can vary by size.

It suits people who want extra height and a more current shape than a flat Chuck, and it pairs easily with dresses, skirts and wide-leg trousers. It is sold in women's sizes 5–15 on Converse Canada, and Converse says it runs large, so consider a half size down. Converse also makes a kids' EVA Lift platform in kids' sizes.

Like any canvas Chuck, it is a spring-to-fall shoe in Canada. Canvas is not water-resistant, and salt and slush stains show quickly on white. Hand-clean the canvas with mild soap and keep it out of the winter rotation. Converse does not label it vegan.
