First look
The Old Skool is the Vans low-top that introduced the Sidestripe. The all-white version, True White (VN000D3HW00), is sold on Vans Canada as the Old Skool Canvas for CA$90: a canvas upper, a padded collar, a rubber sidewall and Vans' vulcanized waffle outsole. Orders ship from Vans' distribution centre in Brampton, Ontario.
It suits casual and skate-influenced outfits and anyone who wants a white sneaker under CA$100. Sizing is unisex, and Vans Canada also sells kids' Old Skools. In October 2026 we found the True White pair only at Vans Canada; Sport Chek, Foot Locker Canada and JD Sports Canada listed other Old Skool colourways, mostly black and white, at about CA$90.
Canvas and a thin vulcanized sole make this a spring-to-fall shoe in Canada. Canvas soaks up slush and shows salt lines, and an all-white upper shows dirt quickly. Spot-clean with mild soap and a soft brush, and let the shoe air-dry away from heat.
