Brooks Ghost 18

This is the Ghost 18, the current version of Brooks' Ghost and the one Brooks Canada sells at full price; Sport Chek had the women's Ghost 17 Wide on clearance in October 2026. Brooks lists road running, daily runs and walking as its uses. It has a nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 foam midsole, a two-colour air mesh upper with a flat-knit tongue, and a 10 mm heel-to-toe drop. Brooks lists 9.2 oz (260.8 g) for the women's shoe and 10.2 oz (289.2 g) for the men's, and the Ghost 18 carries the American Podiatric Medical Association's Seal of Acceptance.

It is CA$180 at Brooks Canada, Sport Chek and Sporting Life. Its strength is fit: Brooks makes it in narrow, medium, wide and extra-wide for both men and women, which few sneakers on this site match. The catch for a white-sneaker shopper is colour. Brooks Canada had no all-white Ghost 18 in October 2026; the whitest options were the women's Ice / White / Snow (a limited edition, medium width only) and the men's White / Black / Open Air, which has black branding. Sport Chek and Sporting Life also sold a women's Star White / Cyber Peach / Grey. If your workplace needs pure white, check the photos closely.

The mesh upper is a spring-to-fall choice: it lets in slush and salt water. Brooks also sells a waterproof Ghost 18 GORE-TEX (CA$210 at Sport Chek), which Sport Chek showed in black.
