White Common Projects sneakers in Canada

Common Projects is an American luxury footwear brand founded in 2004 by designer Prathan Poopat and creative consultant Flavio Girolami. Its shoes are made in Italy, and each pair carries a gold-foil line of numbers on the heel giving the style, size and colour. The Original Achilles Low is its signature minimalist white leather sneaker; there is no Canadian brand storefront, so Canadians usually buy it through third-party luxury retailers.

Are white Common Projects sneakers worth buying in Canada?

Only if the design matters more than the price. The Original Achilles Low is made in Italy and is the minimalist sneaker most others are compared to, but in Canada it costs CA$624 at Kith Canada and CA$745 at SSENSE, several times the price of a Stan Smith. We found only men's sizes at Canadian retailers in October 2026, and Kith refunds returns as store credit.

Can you wear white Common Projects sneakers in a Canadian winter?

None of the Common Projects pairs we cover is waterproof. The Original Achilles Low can handle cold, dry days if you wipe road salt off soon after it dries.

For slush-ready alternatives, see white sneakers for a Canadian winter. To get salt out once it's in, see how to remove salt stains.
